200 Years of Tradition and Artistry
This,
our favorite stoneware, is handmade at Poland’s Ceramika Artystyczna
Company by craftsmen carrying on a time-honored European Bunzlauer tradition,
which originated nearly 200 years ago in the German province of Silesta. The
long Tradition of this stoneware doesn’t rule out modern manufacturing
methods, however once the items are shaped and panted by hand, they’re
fired in coal and gas ovens at temperatures in excess of 2,450F, making
them exceedingly durable; they’re impervious to abrasives resistant
to cracks and chips, freezer, oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe. So,
don’t stash them away in the hutch; though they may LOOK like
special-occasion fine china, go ahead and use them every day. Why let anything
this beautiful languish behind glass?
